31 / JUL / 06 - 1508 CST : "Friendly Deception - Pt. V"

The guest week has come to an end, and so today we get back to your regularly scheduled Geek Tragedy storyline already in progress .

As I'm sure you might have already guessed judging from the black and white version I've posted, the strip hasn't been fully coloured quite yet.  However I do plan to work on the colours a bit more this afternoon before I go and grab some sleep.  So if I'm up with time to spare before I go to work tonight I'll be sure to finish it off then.  If not, I promise it'll be done for sure tomorrow when I get home from work.

Also, if you're looking for last week's guest strips, you can now find them in the Alt strips section of the site.  And trust me, if you did miss them last week, there are well worth checking out!  Thanks again to Pete and Lar for all their help!

Speaking of Pete, he now has Bardsworth T-shirts up for sale!  So if you've got a sec, head on over there, check them out, and then buy a dozen or so for your closest friends!

Well that's it for me.  I'm off to do a bit more work and then head to bed.

Later,

-Ed

28 / JUL / 06 - 1531 CST : Lar to the rescue...

I always love waking up to good news!

I received an e-mail from Lar last night saying that he saw my blog entry about how it looked like I was going to be short one guest artist this week, and that he'd try to "whip some new guest art together" to help me out.  And oh dear lord did he ever!

My only problem now will be figuring out how to explain to my future wife that ownership of our first born has already been sworn to someone else.

My more than heartfelt thanks go out to Lar deSouza (I'm never sure if I should link LICD or his own site...ah hell, I'll just do both) for the time he took to help me out this week.  You really went above and beyond for me man!

And once again I'd like to thank Pete Tarkulich for providing me with Monday's guest strip (btw Pete, when are those Bardsworth shirts gonna be up for sale?!).  I tell ya, it's good to have such kind and giving friends!

I always get a kick out of seeing people's interpretation of my characters, so this week has been a real kick for me.  Hopefully y'all won't be too disappointed when we go back to my own artwork come Monday.

Well that's all for now folks.

Later,

-Ed

0952 CST : Maybe, maybe not...

Hey folks.

Well it looks like there might be some guest art heading my way today after all, but nothing's set in stone quite yet.  If nothing really pans out though, I'll make sure that I hunt through my stuff and post a few sketches or something.  Then, come Monday we'll be getting back to normal with regular strip updates.

For now though, I'm just about ready to catch some sleep.

Later,

27 / JUL / 06 - 1649 CST : Tomorrow's guest artist will be...

Hey folks.  I've got some off the chain Geek Tragedy 411 to give you peeps today, so let's do this thang (<---see that? That there was hipster talk in an attempt to appeal to the youth of today which will no doubt be undermined by the fact that I just followed it up by using the word "hipster")!

I'm his biggest fan...

Given the fact that I haven't heard anything from the artist who was scheduled to provide Friday's guest strip for days now , I'm pretty much going under the assumption that I won't be getting anything from them.  So short of some artistic miracle happening in the next 24 hours, it would appear that tomorrow's guest artist will probably be me.

I wasn't really sure if I'd be up to the challenge, but I thought "What the hell, let's give the kid a shot!"  I only hope that I can live up to my expectations.  However, regardless of how well my work turns out, I'd just like to take this moment to thank myself for taking the time out of my busy schedule, and putting forth the effort needed to fill in for me while I take a week off.

Required reading...

Guess what I got in the mail today?  Here, I'll give you a hint...the artwork for it was done by yesterday's guest artist.

Need another hint? How about...this!

Now I actually got to see a bit of a preview for this a while ago, so I was pretty sure I knew what to expect, and what I expected was some damn fine work.  Now that I've seen the finished product though all I can say is...holy hell was I ever wrong!  This isn't damn fine work, it's fan-fucking-tastic!

Within the pages of this book is some of the finest work I've ever seen Lar do, and he does it consistently on every freakin' page.  Marc Brunet (who I've never heard of before now) then takes Lar's work and pushes it to a whole other level with his colours.

And as for Ryan's writing...well let me ask you this?  How often do you laugh out loud when you read something while you're at home by yourself? Okay, okay. I know it happens every time you read one of my strips, but besides then, how often?  Well I don't know about you, but for me the answer is 'not very'.  Well this comic had me laughing out loud...and yes I was home alone...painfully, painfully alone...with nothing but a bottle of vodka and a rolled up copy of...

Anyway!

Long story short, buy this book!  Granted it may not be for everyone, but if you like sexual innuendo, or humor, or drinking, or laughing, or sex, or some sort of combination there of, I think you'll enjoy it.

And just so you know, my saying all that does not make me a whore!  Whores get paid.  I did that for free.

So I guess that just makes me a slut instead, huh?

GT v3.0 ...

Last but not least, the site redesign is going better than I thought it would actually.  I've still got a few issues to work out here and there, but overall I'm fairly happy with my progress.

One of the things I did before I went ahead with tweaking the site this time was to check out as many other webcomic (and a few non webcomic) sites that I could find in an effort to try and learn from people who undoubtedly know more about web design than I do.  What I found amazing was how many different styles and designs there are out there.  Yet despite that fact there are certain fundamental aspects of almost every site that seem to remain the same.

Now for those of you who have grown used to/fond of the current design, don't worry.  I think once you see the revamp (which could be done as soon as September) you'll find that in essence it's rather similar to this version.  However, I will be making one major change to the structure of the site.  For several reasons too boring to bother getting into, I've decided to merge "The Strip" section of the site with the front (Blog Tragedy) page.

Now I doubt that'll really affect or mean much to most (if any) of you, but I figured I'd let y'all know about that particular change well in advance just in case.

Oh, and on a side note, of all the sites I checked out I have to say that in my opinion I thought Starslip Crisis had by far my favorite design.  Seriously, if you have a sec go over there and check out what Kristopher Straub has done to display his work to the world.  Maybe it's just my lack of expertise in this area, but I think he did an amazing job creating one hellova tight webcomic site (look ma! I can rhyme!)

Oh yeah, one more thing...

Along with the new design I'm hoping to integrate a better bloggin system directly within the site.  For the most part I'm fine with the way I have things set up, but I know that with a little bit of work I could make things a lot easier on me in the furture.

In the mean time though, I've managed to set up a temporary RSS feed through Word Pess.  So if you're into that sort of thing, click here to subscribe to the GT feed (I'll be sure to put up a more permanent link to this somewhere on the site in the next few days).

Well that's all for now folks.  See y'all tomorrow when I post my guest strip!

-Ed

PS: Oh, and I found myself so inspired by Pete over at Bardsworth that I went ahead and set up a Livejournal for GT.  So far I've pretty much only posted the same thing there that I posted here for the last couple of days, but who knows.  Maybe in the future I'll also use it to pour my heart out, and share my dark and tortured poetry with all of you as well.

26 / JUL / 06 - 0956 CST : "Guest Artist : Lar deSouza"

Howdy y'all!

Guest Artist Week continues here at GT, as we have a wonderful strip done by none other than Lar deSo...

I'm sorry...what I meant to say was...

We have a wonderful strip done by none other than the award winning Lar deSouza of Least I Could Do fame.  Many of you who have been coming to the site for a while now no doubt know just how highly I think of Lar and his work.  So it should come to no surprise to any of you that I was thrilled beyond words when he offered to take some time away from his busy schedule to help me out this week.  After all, I've been blown away by Lar's interpretation of my Characters every time he's taken a crack at them in the past.

Oh, and I should also mention that today's strip is the first collaboration I've ever had the opportunity to take part in with another artist.  Though truth be told, I had the much easier part of the bargain here as I just came up with the joke, whereas Lar was the one who breathed life into it with his artwork.

Thanks Lar, I owe ya one (or maybe eight)!

Okay folks.  I'm off to see if I can't get rid of this skull-pounding headache I've got going on here.  Seriously, I can't tell ya how glad I am that I didn't have to do the strip today as the last thing I feel like doing is staring at a monitor for hours on end.  And speaking of not wanting to stare at a monitor...

25 / JUL / 06 - 1703 CST : Tomorrow's guest strip...

Hey folks.

Just dropping by to let you know that I'll be posting the next guest strip first thing tomorrow morning when I get home from work.  As for Friday's guest strip...well I'm actually still waiting on that one to be sent to me.  I'm sure it'll arrive in time though...no doubt about it...yep.

Anyway, that's all for now.  Talk to y'all tomorrow.

24 / JUL / 06 - 1917 CST : Breaking shit on purpose...

Hey guys.

One of the big reasons I wanted to take this week off from doing the strip was so that I could finally have the extra time I needed to make some headway on revamping the site.  For the most part any work I'm doing on the revamp shouldn't really affect the current incarnation of the site.  However, I have been doing a bit of restructuring today, so you may find yourself running into a spot of trouble when you click on a link leading to one of the strips.

Now if you're clicking on a link from within this site that takes you to a specific strip and it seems to be dead, simply refresh the page where the link is located, and then everything should be working fine again.  If it's not, then please drop me an e-mail or post the problem you're having on the forum, and I'll fix it up just as soon as I can.

On the other hand, if you're clicking on a link from another site or from your browsers favorites that leads directly  to one of the strips and you find it's no longer working...well there isn't really anything I can do about that.  Sorry.

Okay folks, I'm heading back to bed.

Later,

-Ed

1023 CST : "Guest Artist: Peter Tarkulich"

Well folks, today we kick off Guest Artist Week (aka : Crazy Eddie's Slackfest '06) here at Geek Tragedy with some artwork kindly donated to the cause by Peter Tarkulich.

On top of being the creative force behind his own webcomic, Bardsworth (which BTW has just recently rolled on by the 100 strip milestone), Pete is also one of Geek Tragedy's biggest supporters.  He's been an active contributor to the GT forum pretty much from the moment it went live, has helped promote the site countless times in the past with seemingly every chance he get, and is always quick to share with me any ideas he may have that might help out my own efforts to pimp it to the public.  I only wish I could get my act together with GT the way Pete has with Bardsworth (maybe one day I'll have buttons, a Myspace page, and a Livejournal all set up to help spread the word about the site).

Anyway, I'd just like to say "Thanks Pete!"  And not just for helping me out this week with the strip, but for everything you've done to help the site over the past year!

Well that's all for now folks.  I'll either be back later today, or sometime tomorrow to let y'all know exactly what it is I'm doing with my time off and how it'll affect the site.

Later,

23 / JUL / 06 - 0911 CST : Starting a bit early...

Well at this point it looks like I ended up getting a bit of an early start on that week off I'm taking, doesn't it?  Sorry about the lack of strippage on Friday folks, but like I said before, I was helping my mother out for the past couple of days and I just didn't have the time I needed to work on it.

Hopefully you guys can find it in your heart to forgive me though, as I'm sure y'all can understand just how hard it can be to refuse the woman who was kind enough to give you life when she asks for your help.  Especially when that same woman is capable of wielding motherly guilt with the same brutal efficiency that your average Sith Lord uses to manipulate the force (I think most of you out there know exactly what I'm talking about here, right?).

And to be be perfectly honest, I also had the opportunity to make a bit of extra cash this weekend and I couldn't really pass that up either.  'Cause despite the fact that Geek Tragedy is a blast for me to do, it isn't quite paying the bills yet I'm afraid.

Anyway, Monday's strip will be the first of the three guest strips I'll be posting this week, and I can assure you it'll be up first thing tomorrow morning.  Talk to you then folks.

Later,

21 / JUL / 06 - 1153 CST : Family first...

Hey folks.

It looks like today's strip will be late after all, as I'm just about to head over to my mother's place to help her out with a few things and won't have time to finish it off before I do.  That's right, I've now gone so far as to resort to blaming my poor dear mother for the strip being late...but then again it is all her fault so it's hard for me to feel bad about it.

I tried to find some extra time to work on it before today so this wouldn't happen, but I came up short.  I'm hoping to be able to get it done late tonight if everything goes well though, so you can look for it to be up as early as Saturday morning.

I'd also like to mention that unless something rather dramatic happens to change my mind, after this weekend I'll be taking a week off from doing the strip.  I've talked about doing this for a few months, but till now I kept putting it off for one reason or another.

Don't worry though, I wouldn't leave y'all for a week without offering up something to keep you entertained, so I'll be posting guest strips / art this coming Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Plus, if a couple of the guest art "maybes" end up panning out, I may even have updates for you on Tuesday and Thursday as well

Anyway, I better get my ass in gear and take off.  I'll be sure to come back and post when the strip is up.

19 / JUL / 06 - 1834 CST : "Friendly Deception - Pt. IV"

Alrighty folks, today's strip is up.

I should also mention that Friday's strip might be late.  I'm not 100% certain about this right now, but there is a chance, so I figured I'd warn you a bit in advance just in case.

Well that's all for now.

Later,

-Ed

1503 CST : You don't know what you got...

...till some bastard bans your site at work and you can't even check your e-mail or read the freakin' forum on your break!

But I digress...

For those of you have been waiting patiently for it, I wanted to let ya know that the newest comic will be up in a few hours.  And just so you know, this is one of those strips I talked about on Monday that won't end with or even contain a joke (unless of course I end up changing the script between now and when I put it up).  It's strictly a plot driver.  Hopefully y'all aren't gonna be too disappointed by this though.

Anyway, I'll be back in a few.

Later,

17 / JUL / 06 - 1633 CST : "Friendly Deception - Pt. III"

After a long absence Blue Bird has returned to Geek Tragedy in this strip, and yes, she's sporting a new look.  Some of you may have seen the revamped Blue Bird pic I posted a long time ago as a voting incentive (back when I had GT up on the now defunct Webcomiclist.com), but for those of you who missed it...

While she does look a bit different from the above drawing, I stuck pretty close to my original plan.  I should also mention that I played around with her colouring when I did today's strip.  I like how it turned out, but I'm not sure if it was really worth the extra time it took, so I may not repeat that in later strips.

Well, that's it for now folks.  I may be back tomorrow to gab a bit more, but if not than I'll see you on Wednesday when the next strip is up.

Later,

-Ed

1053 CST : On tap for today...

Hey folks.

First off, I've finally changed the "of the moment" selection.  For those of you who haven't checked it out yet, I strongly recommend you go and see what they have to offer over at 10.  The linkup in the box will take you to one of my favorite shows so far (as cruel as this may sound, seeing the expression on Laura's face by the end of the segment cracked me up), however you should really take a second to view as many of the shows as you can (or all of them if you have the time).

Aside from adding that link, there will be a new strip up today sometime in the afternoon.  I'd give you a more specific time, but it seems whenever I do that shit always goes horribly wrong and I miss my mark by a few hours.  Still, I'll be sure to pop back and let you know when it's up.

I should also note that while there will be funny bits sprinkled throughout the strips in this particular tale, not all of them will necessarily end in a joke.  I do try my best not to let that happen too often, but with the more story driven segments like this one, sometimes I just can't fit a gag right in the last panel.  Hopefully you'll still get a kick out of them though.

Last but not least, those of you who are expecting T-shirts will be happy to know that I'm mailing them out today, so you should be getting yours in about a week.

That's all for now guys.

Later,

-Ed

14 / JUL / 06 - 1955 CST : "Friendly Deception - Pt. II"

Yes, I've actually managed to get Friday' strip is up on Friday, and I did it well before midnight too.  I can only assume that this a sign of the apocalypse and we will all be wiped out by Monday.

Now before I pack it in for the night, there was a couple things I wanted to mention about the current story line.  The least important of which is that this is the first time I've have had a chance to put Casey and Grey alone together within the comic.  And now that I have, I'm pretty sure I've finally managed pair up each of the core four characters together one on one.

See, I told you it wasn't really and important insight.

What is important though, is that this tale will heavily touch upon the main underlining story line of Geek Tragedy.  Which, in case you've forgotten, is the deal Casey struck with the powers that be (specifically Blue Bird), and how it spurred Noname's quest for a life so that he won't be doomed to live the same half-life that Casey currently is.  If you're not sure what I'm talking about, then perhaps you should jump back to the very beginning and read the first half a dozen or so strips (if you do decide to do that however, please excuse the art...I was young and feeble back then).

In truth, I've been meaning to produce this story since shortly after Christmas Day of the Dead came to a close, but I kept putting it off for one reason or another.  And while I don't want to spoil any of the upcoming strips for you, I will say that this tale will have a major impact on Geek Tragedy in both the near and far future.

Well, I think I've said enough for now.  I'll try to pop by this weekend if for no other reason than to change the content of the "Of the Moment" box at long last.  'Cause even though "a moment" may be a relative term, I don't think it should really be used to describe the time it takes for seasons to change, do you?

Later,

-Ed

13 / JUL / 06 - 1503 CST : "Friendly Deception - Pt. I"

Before I say anything else, I'd like to send out a Happy Birthday to Pete over at Bardsworth.  I'm not sure how old Pete is, but I think he's older than me.  Which I have to admit makes me feel pretty good.  You see most of the time I always seem to be surrounded by folks who are younger than me, which in turn makes me feel rather old.

Not that I mind the fact that pretty much all my friends are younger than me, but it's getting to the point where I constantly feel like I should be carrying butterscotch candies around with me that I can hand out to the youngsters while I rattle one about he good old days...but I digress.

Also, Pete is going to be celebrating his 100th strip on Friday, and then attending Sac-Anime this weekend to help promote his site.  So if you're in that neck of the woods this weekend, be sure to drop by and give Pete some love.  Not too much love though, after all the dude is married.  I'd suggest picking up one of his T-shirt in lieu of a grope.

On10...

As well, I'd also like to give a shout out to Duncan Mackenzie for being so kind as to mention me on his blog recently (and in turn sending some traffic my way).  As I mentioned before, Duncan works for on10.net (among other things) and recently did an interview with me about webcomics.  There is no word yet as to when the interview will hit the web, but in the mean time you may want to check out this bit of video over at 10.   It's basically and introduction to the 10 team who work so hard to put the show together, and will also give you a bit of a rundown as to what it's like to work on the show.

And last but not least...

The full coloured version of yesterday's strip is now up.

If you read through the last few blog entries you may get a bit of an idea that finishing it off was a less than wonderful experience for me, but in the end I think it was worth it.  I'll talk a bit more about this storyline on Friday when the next installment will be up (or so I dearly freakin' hope!), but for now I've gotta run.

Later,

-Ed

1103 CST : One day I'll learn...

I've really got to get it through my head that when I try to work on the strip when I'm dead tired, more often than not I'll just end up screwing shit up.

Anyway, I wanted to drop by and let y'all know that the colouring is going much better this morning than it was late last night.  I'll be getting back to it in a couple of minutes, but I thought I should drop by and post a pic to show the progress so far.

That's all for now folks.  I'll be back when the comic is fully coloured.

Later,

-Ed

0207 CST : FUCK!

Okay, I posted the line art for this strip along with the text.  The way things are going right now, if I keep trying to do the colours...well I'll probably just end up throwing my computer through the damn window. So instead I'm going to get a bit of sleep, and then start in on it again a little later on.

On a side note, I urge everyone who does any type of work on a computer to SAVE OFTEN!  'Cause not doing so will only drive a person to a murderous rage when your computer inevitably crashes at the worse possible time.

Oh, and the first person who tells me to buy a Mac gets a spanking!

Later,

-Ed

PS: As much as I'd like to blame my computer for this delay, in truth I know it's my own damn fault.  However that doesn't really make it any easier to swallow...

0015 CST : A few more hours...

The strip looks like it'll be done around 3 or 4 am.  I'm just glad that I'm not working tonight or else it would've been delayed till around noon.

See ya in a few.

12 / JUL / 06 - 2018 CST : ETA update...

Hey guys,

Pencils, inks and part of the colours are done for today's strip.  However I now have to do a bit of unscheduled running around, so I've got to hold off on finishing it up for the time being.  With any luck the comic will still be up just before midnight, but it could be pushed back till the wee hours of the night instead.

Anyway, I'll give you guys a heads up when I get back and have a better idea of when the strip will be done.

Later,

-Ed

1006 CST : Sleep, then strip...

Hey folks.

The newest comic will but up today, but not till later on in the evening.  I'd prefer to have it up sooner than that, but it seems that after a week of sleeping during the night my body clock is pretty screwed up right now, so I'm actually in desperate need of going to bed ASAP.  Hopefully this won't last too long and I'll be able to go back to sleeping during my normal screwed up hours again very soon.

1913 CST : Back to the grind...

Today's strip will be up in a few hours, and then after that it's back to work for me.  And yes, as I predicated my cold has managed to run it's course just in time for my vacation to end.

See you in a few folks.

09 / JUL / 06 -  2359 CST : And now that I've stopped coughing every ten seconds...

I can finally make with that blog entry I kept talking about.

One last call for artists...

Well it seems that I have the minimum of three guest strips / art locked right now for my upcoming week off (plus I also have a couple "maybes" out there), but I'm still more than happy to accept a few others.  So if anyone wants to throw their artistic hat in the GT ring, just drop me an e-mail.

Right now I'm looking to start my week off from the strip on either July 17th or the 24th.  Anyone who contributes will be mentioned here in the blog, and I'll link to your site (if you have one) via the strip as well.  So if you'd like a bit of extra traffic thrown your way, this may be a good way of going about it.

My thanks to those of you who have already helped out with this, and I look forward to hearing from those of you who may decided to contribute in the week or two ahead.

Proving good things do happen to good people...

Some of you may remember me mentioning a few weeks ago that Lar deSouza of LICD was up for a an Aurora Award in the category of Artistic Achievement.  Well I'm thrilled to say that I just received word that Lar has walked away a winner this year!

Not to take anything away from his competition, but I personally can't think of anyone more deserving of such positive attention than Lar.  Congratulations bud, you deserve it!

Some people win awards, others get banned...

Recently I talked about how Geek Tragedy received a bit of exposure in one of the local papers.  Well since that article came out I've had a few people from work come up to me and tell me that they've checked out my site, and liked what they've seen.  This has been rather gratifying for me because as someone who does straight midnight shifts I'm always happy to find out that anyone from work even knows I exist (after working there for five years some folks I run into still think I'm "the new guy").  However, it would appear that being known at work while running a website on the side has it's price.

Two days into my week off I received a couple e-mails informing me that Geek Tragedy has now landed itself on the list of "restricted" sites at work.  So it would seem that maybe I ended up getting a bit too much attention from my co-workers.

Of course seeing as how this site is totally non-work related I can't exactly blame them for doing this.  Plus I once read that you haven't really started to make it on the web until you've either been sued or banned by someone, so I guess in some strange way this is sort of a good thing.  Oh yeah, and let's not forget that these folks also pay my salary, which in turn allows me to stay fed and pay the mortgage, so all in all I have nothing really negative to say about their decision. In fact...

I urge everyone out there who lives in Canada to take some time and call 1 888 2 DONATE in order to set up an appointment to donate blood.  Trust me when I say that doing so really can help save lives.

And if you do decide to donate, be sure to tell them that Geek Tragedy sent ya!

To hell with taking the red or blue pill, make mine green...

The little green gel caps I took a while ago are starting to kick in now, and my brain is filling up with that good old NyQuil fog, so I think it's time to call it a night.  The way this cold is going I'm thrilled to say that I should be feeling much better just in time for my week off to end.  What swell timing!

Anyway, I'm sure I'll have more to say tomorrow after I post the next strip so I'll see y'all then.

07 / JUL / 06 - 2054 CST : "Sick Day"

Given the current state of my health I decided to go in a much different direction with the strip than I had originally planned.

I'd love to stick around and say more, but now that today's comic is done and I no longer have much need for my mental faculties, I think it's high time that I say hello to my good friend NyQuil gel caps.

Hey folks.

Sorry I didn't manage to drop by yesterday to say hi, but on top of having some running around to do it would appear that I've managed to catch myself a nice little cold during my week off from work.  Despite the fact that I feel rather miserable right now I wanted to let y'all know that it shouldn't do anything to affect today's strip update, so don't worry about that.

I do have a bunch of stuff I wanted to tell you about though, so I'm still going to try and make with that longwinded post I talked about on Wednesday.  However, depending on how I feel as the day goes on, I may not get around to it till I post the strip or possibly even tomorrow.

Well that's it for now.  I'm off to make some more tea, and then get my sick ass back to working on the strip.

05 / JUL / 06 - 2138 CST : "Night Out - Pt. XVII"

And so we bring this tale of getting laid, slapped and jailed to a close.

I don't have much to say right now, but I'm pretty sure I'll be doing one of my more longwinded blog posts tomorrow.  So either keep a look out for that, or avoid it like the plague depending on how you feel about those.

Alrighty, I'll talk to y'all tomorrow.

1428 CST : Why does the sun have to be so freakin' bright...

Hey folks.

The last installment of the (overly?)long "Night Out" saga will be up later this evening.  One of the main reasons why the strips are going up so much later than usual (and will most likely continue to do so through till Monday) is because I've currently switch my life back to a day schedule while on my week off.  So instead of being up in the wee hours of the night to work on it, I end up getting started in the morning instead.

But enough making excuses for now.  I've got to go run some errands, and then I'll be back at it.

04 / JUL / 06 - 2252 CST : "Night Out - Pt. XVI"

Okay, the second last installment of this storyline has just come online.  It's a bit wordy, late, and not exactly the best I've ever done, but at least it's...uh...finished?

Anyway, sorry for the wait folks.  On the bright side, Wednesday's strip will be up in less than 24 hours so you won't have too long to wait till you can get your next GT fix.

Well that's it for me.  See ya all tomorrow.

2027 CST : Like drawing through cement...

Sorry this is taking so long folks.  I've been in kind of a blah mood all day so I've really been dragging my ass.  However I don't have to work tonight (or any night for the next seven days) so I'll be able to stay up as long as it takes to get it done.

See ya in another hour or so,

-Ed

1623 CST :No I haven't forgotten you...

I took a nap, but now I'm back to plugging away at the strip.  Look for it to be up around 8pm or so.

0951 CST : Today's strip...

No ETA on it yet, but I can say for sure that there will definitely be a new strip up today for you guys to look at.  And yes, it'll be in colour.

I'll drop by again to give you a heads up as I get closer to knowing for sure when it's going to be done.

03 / JUL / 06 - 0901 CST : I'm back...

Hey folks.

Well I got back late last night and then had to head off to work a few hours later, so I'm totally exhausted right now.  There will be a new strip up tomorrow though, and then again on Wednesday and Friday.  Plus, I'm hoping I'll be up early enough today to colour Friday's strip before work as I'd kinda prefer not to have any more B&W strips floating around the archives than I do already.

For now though, I'm off to get some much needed sleep.

Later,

-Ed
