30 / JUN / 06 - 1332 CST : "Night Out  - Pt. XV"

It may be black and white today, but the strip is up none the less.

Sorry I didn't have time to colour it, but I've got a ton of stuff to do before I head off for the weekend, and I'm running out of time.  I'll see y'all on Monday though.

Take care, and have a great weekend everybody. Oh, and happy Canada Day to everyone on my side of that border!

29 / JUN / 06 - 1732 CST : "Night Out - Pt. XIV"

Well the full and complete strip is now up.

Just a couple of things to say before I head to bed.

The last panel of this comic is, in my opinion at least, the best thing I've done to date.  Especially when it comes to the colours.  It is also the hardest thing I've ever had to draw as well.  I can't even begin to explain to you how much I struggled with it (sufficed to say , I've still got a long way to go before I've mastered human anatomy).  I'm glad I GT isn't an action comic.  'Cause if I had to draw shit like that every second day, I'd lose my freakin' mind.

I should also mention that drawing Noname clocking that dude was a lot of fun (and more than a little cathartic), and haven't enjoyed drawing him that much since he went Bruce Campbell on some zombie ass.

And last but not least I wanted to let you folks know that I'll be out of town Friday evening, as I'll be spending the weekend with friends at the cabin.  What this means in regards to the site is that Fridays strip should still be up on time, but I may have to leave it as black and white.

As well, I won't be getting back till god knows when on Sunday, and will then have to head out to work that same night.  So I have no idea what shape I'll be in come Monday morning when I get off work or if I'll have a strip up that day.  So there is a chance that Monday's strip will be up late too.

Sorry about a this possible lateness folks, but trust me when I say that I really need a weekend to just sit back and relax.

Alrighty, I'm off.  See you guys tomorrow.

-Ed

1412 CST : Just a teaser...

Hey folks.

If you want to see a spoiler for how the newest strip ends I've posted the last panel (which on it's own is actually the same size as one of my standard strips) in The Strip area.  Now I still have three much smaller (and less colour intensive) panels left to do, but I figured I've kept y'all waiting so long now that I should post something ASAP.

However, if you don't want the ending of today's strip to be revealed to you before you see the ones leading up to it, you should wait a couple more hours till I post the full strip.  I'll be sure to let you know here when they're done.

Okay, back to work!

Later,

28 / JUN / 06 - 1315 CST : The silence has lifted...

Hey folks.

Well it looks like I was correct yesterday when I said that Wednesday's strip may be up late (I'll have it done tomorrow), but at least I can tell you why now.

The day after the newspaper article came out a fellow by the name of Duncan Mackenzie contacted me to ask if I'd like to do an interview.  It would seem that when Duncan isn't busy doing software development for Microsoft or writing Xbox for Dummies books (among other things), he shoots and conducts interviews for 10 (www.on10.net).  And as luck would have it, he just so happened to be in town visiting relatives (he's originally from Winnipeg) and saw the article.

Of course, being the budding media whore that I am, I agreed to the interview.

Now I was a little worried about it at first, as this time it was a video interview and I'm not big on being on camera, but now that it's over the only way I can even think to describe it...way fuckin' cool!

Unfortunately, much like with the newspaper interview, I was insanely tired when it took place (which is pretty much the norm with me outside the hours of midnight and 8am).  Plus the second after it was over, which was about an hour or so ago, I once again couldn't remember a damn word I said.  So it's my hope that through the magic of editing 10 somehow manages to me make sound somewhat intelligent.  Or barring that, perhaps not like a total ass.

Well there you have it folks.  In a couple weeks time this interview should be up online, and with any luck I'll score a bit more attention for the site.

Oh, and one more thing I should mention.  After Duncan gets home, the next interview he has lined up is with...wait for it...Mike "Gabe" Krahulik and Jerry "Tycho" Holkins of Penny Arcade!  I know!  It makes you kinda wonder why the hell he was slumming it with me, huh?

So even though I know I'll never become as famous or successful as those two webcomicing juggernauts, at least now I can always say that we were both interviewed by the same guy.  Small consolation I know, but I'll take it.

Okay folks, the strip will be up tomorrow.  And as always I'm sorry for the wait (but if it'll make you feel any better you can blame Duncan).

Later,

-Ed

PS:  I should also say that Duncan is a really cool guy to talk to, and that he really helped make this interview experience a lot of fun (that's not sucking up btw, I'm just stating the facts).  Thanks Duncan!

27 / JUN / 06 - 1500 CST : "Night Out - Pt. XIII"

It's up now folks.  Sorry for the delay.

There is a chance that tomorrow's strip may be a bit late too, but for a very good reason...I just can't tell you about it yet.  But I will say that it came about because of the article.

Later,

1343 CST : Big ass typo...

It's amazing how different a sentence can read for lack of a simple word like "didn't".  Thanks to my mom who found that horrible typo.

Strip should be up in an hour or so.

0914 CST : Strip Club...

Hey folks!

I intended to write this after I got the strip up, but knowing myself the way I do (which is intimately btw) I'm well aware of the fact that I don't often feel up to doing the whole communicating with words sorta thing once I've finished making all those pretty pictures. So instead I figured it might be best to do it now.

*Some may find it odd that my write up on the article may end up being longer than the article itself, but hey. Something like this may never happen again, so I'm gonna milk this puppy for all it's worth!*

And so away we go…

As I mentioned yesterday, there was an article written recently in the Winnipeg Free Press (one of our major local papers) about both Geek Tragedy, and webcomics in general.  I know there are a few of you from outside the Winnipeg area who have asked if I could post the article on the site so you could read it, and thanks to one of the kind editors at the paper I've now been given permission to do just that. So you can go ahead and give it a read by clicking on the pics below.

Before you do though it should be noted that:

A) Yes, my forehead is really that huge.

B) Within the article I may have overstated the number of webcomics there are out there when I said "hundreds of thousands" instead of "tens of thousands, if not a hundred thousand" as I had intended to. In my defense though I was running on a combo of beer and very little sleep when I did the interview, so cut me some slack (I'm kidding about the beer mom).

As well as wanting to see the article, some of you asked exactly how it came about in the first place. Well if I had to sum it up in two words, I think "dumb luck" would be rather accurate. But if you'd prefer a horribly long winded explanation as to the "how" of it all, than by all means read on.

Big things can come from a little pimpin'...

You might remember that in May I attended KeyCon, a local Sci-Fi and Fantasy convention (and for those of you who're waiting for it, look for that con report sometime next April!). On the second day of that con my friends Travis and Steve, along with yours truly, all wore our Geek Tragedy T-shirts. It was a premeditated fashion statement with the sole intent of spreading the GT gospel…and scoring chicks…but mostly it was about pimpin' the site.

It should also be noted that Least I Could Do's Lar deSouza was spotted pimpin' the site by donning a GT-shirt that day as well. Granted that has nothing really to do with this story, but Lar gives me a nice shiny nickel every time I mention his name in my blog, and I'm saving up for a laptop.

But getting back to the tale at hand…

That afternoon, following a fine lunch at one of the local pubs Travis, Steve and I were making our way back to the con when we spotted this women out for a jog heading towards us. As we started to clear a path so she could get by, she began to slow down just enough to read our shirts and then stopped to ask about why we were all wearing matching shirts.

Now my first instinct was to lie and say we were all members of a band. 'Cause lets face it, when a woman comes up out of the blue and starts talking to you, would you rather tell her you’re a musician, or guy who writes and draws dick jokes in his spare time? However, despite my better judgment I ended up telling the truth, and for once I'm glad I did.

After a couple more questions about my strip and what exactly a webcomic was, she introduced herself as Gabrielle Giroday, and told us she was a reporter for the Winnipeg Free Press. Gabrielle went on to say that she thought this all sounded like it'd make an interesting article. She said that she'd be sure to check out the site, and told me I should drop her an e-mail about a possible interview.  And with that she jogged off into the sunset (okay, so it wasn’t actually even close to being sunset yet, but I think I’m allowed a bit of poetic license here).

Allow me to stop for a sec and recap the two things I learned at this point:

1) Never lie to women.

2) Even for a smaller site, or perhaps especially for a smaller site, producing T-shirts really can help you promote your work

Geek Tragedy gets inked...

Unfortunately, Gabrielle was under too many deadlines to write the article herself, but she was kind enough to pass the idea around amongst her colleagues to see if they'd be interested. Lucky for me a wonderfully talented writer by the name of Cheryl Binning saw that there might be something there, and decided to run with it. That same day she dropped me an e-mail, set up a time for an interview, and the rest is Geek Tragedy history.

To tell the truth, I was kinda worried about how the article would turn out. Not because I thought Cheryl would do a bad job, but because I couldn't remember a damn word I said in the interview and was convinced I came off sounding like bleedin' idiot. After all, I was extremely tired when we talked, and more than a little nervous. And in the past I've been known to say some pretty dumb shit when either of those two forces were pressing down on my brain.

In the end, I don't think I could've asked for anything more as far as the article goes. Not only do I feel that Cheryl did an amazing job writing it, but both the pictures and layout were excellent. Plus, having three of my strips shown front and center with my name and site address below each of them, well that's the best damn bit of free advertising for the site I've ever seen.

When all is said and done though, what I enjoyed most about the article wasn't the exposure it brought to the site, or the extra hits it received because of it, or the personal thrill I felt looking at my strips printed someplace they just aught not to be. No. The best part about it was knowing how proud it made my mom to see that her son had made it into the paper…and that he managed to do it in a way that didn't involve taking out a bus full of nuns with an AK-47 or having sex with a goat.

And now a bit of thanks...

That's it for now folks, but before I head off and get back to working on the strip I’d like to say thanks to the following people:

Steve, and Travis for pimpin' the site that day with me.

Gabrielle for taking a break from her jog, and getting this ball rolling.

Cheryl Binning for writing a damn fine article and helping me not look like an ass in print.

Borris Minkevich for taking the photos that made me look a lot less dorky than I would've ever thought possible.

John Sullivan for giving me permission to post the article.

And finally, a big thank you goes out to everyone who read the article and let me know that they got a kick out of it and / or my comic.

Alighty. Y’all don’t come here to listen to me ramble on, so I best be getting back to working on the strip.

-Ed

26 / JUN / 06 - 1522 CST : Sorry folks, it's been a bad day...

1228 CST : Strip update...

I'm working away at the strip right now.  I'm hoping to have it up in a couple of hours or so.  There is a chance that it'll be in black and white at first, but colours should be following that a few hours after that.

Also, there was an article written about myself and webcomics in general in the Winnipeg Free Press (one of the major local papers), and I'm planning to give y'all a rundown about the article, and how it came about.  However my main priority right now is the comic, so if I'm running short on time later, I'll have to do that write up tomorrow.

23 / JUN / 06 - 1743 CST : "Night Out - Pt. XII"

Hey folks!  I've got the strip up now.  Hope y'all enjoy it!

Before I head off to bed to slip into a coma, I've got one more bit of info to share with those of you who are from right here in Winnipeg.  My buddy Sean is pulling double duty tomorrow by playing two gigs, with two bands.  Now from what I understand the venue is actually outside at someone's house, so I was kinda leery about posting the info.  However Sean wants as many people to check out his bands as possible, so he told me to go ahead and do it.  So if you're up for some live music you should check it out.  Here's all the info you need:

BandPooloza BBQ and Pool Party

35 Acton Place

Saturday June 24, 2006

1:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

One more thing.  It's an outdoor show, so if the weather is less than wonderful I'm told it will be moved to an alternate date in August.  I'd give you the number to call for info, but I think the one I was given was someone's personal phone number, and I don't fancy throwing that out there to the world.

So there you have it.  I don't know who's house this is, but I'm just hoping they have very understanding neighbors.

Okay, I'm off to bed.

1043 CST : Today in the GT universe...

Okay, I've got quite a few things to mention, so I'll jump right into it.

Today's eye-candy...

First off, the strip will be up late this afternoon sometime.  I was debating if I should take a nap before I finish it up, but I think I'll just push on forward instead.  I'll let y'all know if anything changes though.

The merch is runnin' low...

I was going through the GT-shirts today, and it seems the only sizes that are left now are Large and X-Large. Oh and there is one 2X-Large too, however I took the option to buy it off the store page a while ago for some reason.  Not sure why, but I'll be putting it back up this weekend when I have a few minutes.

Once these shirts are gone (or close to it), I'll be retiring the design.  However I will start working on another shirt design or two soon.  Most likely I'll be put up another poll to see what you folks think about what I come up with (like I did the last time), but in the end I may just go with what my gut tells me.

Also, I've started looking into some other merch options.  I'm trying for something that is on the low end of the price range for you folks who have been wanting to support the site, but are on kind of a tight budget (much like myself).

Bra-Man correction...

It seems I was a bit mistaken about how often the crew at LICD will be trying to come out with new issues.  They're shooting for one issue every three months, rather than once a month.  I'm guessing the reason for this is that they feel Lar should be allowed some time in his life to sleep (slacker!).

Speaking of Lar...

It would seem Mr. Lar deSouza has gone and gotten himself nominated for an Aurora Award (Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Association) in the category of Artistic Achievement.  In my mind there is no one more worthy of taking this puppy home, so he's definitely getting my vote.

From what I understand, if you happen to be attending this years Toronto Trek con, you'll get to vote there.  Otherwise you have to go to the Aurora Award site, grab a ballot and mail it in by June 26th.  The cost to vote for those not going to the con is $6 CAN (oh, and the voting is only open to Canadians).  I personally am giving up diet Dr. Pepper for a day to cover the cost of my vote.

Now I know it's last minute that I'm mentioning this (I just found out yesterday as Lar was too humble to mention it to me himself), and there isn't much time left to vote, and you may not want to part with your coffee money for the day to cover the cost, but if you're a fan of Lar's work please consider it.  It'd be a nice gesture, and a good way to show him your support.

Plus if you don't, I think you'll get syphilis...yeah, I'm pretty sure that's true.

My e-mail, and it's constant state of being screwed...

For a while yesterday, and continuing on into the wee hours of this morning, my e-mail was down...again.  So if you tried to contact me and your e-mail got bounced, or if you were waiting for an e-mail from me that never showed, I apologize.  It seems to be working now though so I guess all is right with the world once more.

Looking to tomorrow...

Saturday may end up being a big day for the site.  If this holds true I'll be sure to pop back then and give y'all the low down.  For now though, I've got funny to do, so I best get to it.

Later,

-Ed

21 / JUN / 06 - 1427 CST : "Night Out - Pt. XI"

Well it looks like I'll be able to get a full night's day's sleep after all.  Enjoy the strip folks.

1256 CST : Tweaking the time away...

Howdy all.

Well I had most of the strip done before I even got home from work today so I thought it was only going to take me a couple hours.  However it would seem that when given a larger amount of time to do the strip, instead of finishing it up early it is just in my nature to spend a lot longer tweaking it than I normally do.

On the plus side though it's allowed me more than enough time to improve the look of the female character I included in today's comic.  Granted I'm still not totally satisfied (I'd rather she looked a bit more cartoony), but I am closer than I've ever been to "getting it right".

Anyway, you'll see what I mean in a couple of hours when I post it.

For now though, it's back to fussing over my near finished work.

Later,

19 / JUN / 06 - 1807 CST : Five minutes from now I will be fast asleep....

However, before I go I wanted to let ya guys know that if you head over to Least I Could Do you'll be treated to the first glimpse of Bra-Man #1. This is Ryan and Lar's first foray into doing a monthly printed comic, and they are currently taking preorders for it (I've already bought my copy!).

Together with colorist Marc Brunet, the LICD boys have decided to tell the ongoing story of Bra-Man in a 24 page (ad free) full colour comic.  These comics, from what I understand, are all original stories which take place within the LICD universe but don't have any direct impact on the ongoing storylines of the webcomic itself.

Now if you follow LICD at all you'll be well acquainted with Bra-Man already, but if you aren't (and you have a wonderfully warped sense of humor) I think you'll be in for a real treat here.  So if you have a sec, drop by Least I Could Do and pre-order yourself a copy!

Okay, time to take the pimp hat off and get my ass to bed.

Later,

1515 CST : "Night Out - Pt. X"

18 / JUN / 06 - 1803 CST : Kinda flat, but colourful...

Okay, I've posted the flat colours.  There is a chance that this'll be the last update for today.  It's gonna depend on how awake I feel in the next few hours.  With any luck though the full finished strip will be up before I head to bed.

1652 CST : Inks are now up for Pt. IX...

And I'm currently working on the colours.  I'll post again when they're done.

1319 CST : A long time coming...

Starting this Monday Geek Tragedy will be updated on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Now let me explain why.

Almost a year ago to the day I switched from doing one full page update, to three smaller strip style updates per week.  At the time, given what my professional and personal live was like, I figured that the best days for me to work on and post these smaller strips would be Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  And for the better part of the last year this worked out quite well for me.

However, in recent months some of you may have noticed that a lot of my strips have been showing up a day late (especially Thursday's).  Granted I haven't actually missed one in quite a while and I guess late is better then never, but I'd still rather not have to announce delays ever damn week.  And given the fact that Thursdays and Sundays have become absolutely horrible for me as far as finding any sort of free time to work on the site goes, I can't see these delays stopping anytime in the near future.

So there you have it.  Until further notice Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will be the comic's new update schedule.  Granted I'm pretty sure this probably won't make too much a difference to most of you, but I wanted to let y'all know about it just in case.

Well that's all for now folks.  I'll probably be back later on to chat with you folks a bit more, but if not, then I'll see ya Monday.

Later,

16 / JUN / 06 - 1753 CST : "Night Out - Pt. IX"

Hey folks.

Sorry about the brief post I made earlier.  I was really pressed for time as I had to go into work (during the freakin' day no less!) for some training, and I was cutting it pretty close to being late.  Getting taken off of nights for the end of this week has really thrown my schedule off, but now that it's over I'm trying to get back on track again.

I've gone ahead and posted the comic in "The Strip" section in pretty much the same state as you see it below.  Unfortunately I won't be able to touch it till later on tonight, but I'm gonna do my best to have it totally finished up by tomorrow.

For now though, I've gotta run again.

Till tomorrow,

-Ed

1228 CST : I have to run, but...

Here is a progress report:

Later,

15 / JUN / 06 - 1927 CST : The steam has run out...

Well I'm about to crash.  I'll have a black and white version of the strip (at the very least) up tomorrow.

See ya then folks.

-Ed

1738 CST : Still progressing...

Alrighty folks, here's an update complete with a few pics.

First off, I don't usually do much in the way of thumbnail sketches when it comes to the strip, but in the case of Night Out - Pt.  IX's first panel I felt it was needed.

For those of you who don't know what a thumbnail drawing is, it's basically a rough sketch of how you'd like to lay out a panel or an entire page / strip.  Here's what mine looked like:

Now while this ain't exactly clean, normally any thumbs I do are much rougher than this.  I mean really rough.  Like stick figures finger painted by a blind monkey kinda rough.  However, with this one I worked over Frank and Noname a fair amount so that I could get them just right when I did the real thing.  In the end though I didn't like Noname's pose, so I changed it to this:

You can also see that I spent a bit of time on the one of the background characters.  I'm still pretty weak at drawing women, so I thought I should get a bit of a warm up before I started in on the first panel of the actual strip.  Which by the way ended up looking like so:

For once I'm rather please with how my pencils turned out.  Sure, there are a few things that I feel could be improved upon, but over all I think I done good.

Oh, and in case you're wondering why I don't add in backgrounds like this very often (or pretty much ever)?  It's because this sort of thing takes me forever to do, and if I did it for every strip I'd never get one up on time ever again.  So until I get a bit quicker at this drawing thing, I'll most likely be sticking with the sparse backgrounds that you've all come to know and tolerate.

Okay guys, I'm off to finish the rest of the pencils and then ink 'em.  I'll drop by with another update when I have more to show, or when I've completely run out of steam and need to head to bed.

Later,

-Ed

1214 CST : Work in progress...

Hi folks.

Today's strip involves me having to draw three things I really struggle with:

Backgrounds, background characters, and women.

As well it'll be about twice the size of what the comic usually is.  Which means (you guessed it) it may not be up on time.  I will however be posting updates as often as I can later on during the day, so keep a look out for those.

For the time being though I'm gonna catch a bit of sleep, but I'll pop back when I wake up and have something to show y'all.

13 / JUN / 06 - 2317 CST : "Night Out - Pt. VIII"

Well, I'm off to get ready for work.

1014 CST : I should've learned the guitar instead...

Hey folks.

I'm about to catch some sleep, but I'll be sure to get the strip finished up later on today. In the mean time you may want to check out the "Of The Moment" box.

Everything I've heard from Stephen Lynch so far has cracked me up.  I mean granted there are quite a few comedians out there who use songs in their routines, but I don't think I've ever seen one with as much pure musical talent as Lynch.  So if you've got a sec, be sure to give him a click.

Alrighty, time for some sleep.

11 / JUN / 06 - 2331 CST : "Night Out - Pt. VII"

The longer I have to think over a joke, the less funny it seems to become.  And in the case of today's strip I had days to think about it.  So by early this afternoon I could no longer see any sort of humor within it whatsoever, and so I began to really second guess myself.

Well I still have no idea if it's funny or not, but seeing as how I've pretty much run out of time, I guess there isn't much I can do about it now.

Anyway, that all for me.  I'll see y'all either tomorrow, or on Tuesday when I post the newest strip.

Later,

1637 CST : Second thoughts...

Well today's strip is about 2/3 done, but I'm beginning to rethink the joke I went with.

Okay folks, I'll be back in a few hours.

Well that's all for now folks.

The strip will be up tomorrow morning.  Sorry for the delay!

-Ed

2016 CST : The gauntlet has been thrown down...

Normally at this point I'd be losing hope that the strip will be done before I go to work.  Or I'd be posting a black and white version of the strip instead (which won't work for today's comic I'm afraid, and when you see it you'll know why). However this time I am hell bent on getting it done tonight!

Why you may ask?  Well let's just say that it has a lot to do with this little message I received from my friend Christy...

"Yes I do know what Thursday is.  Thursday is the day that you post the note that you won't be able to post the strip on Thursday.  Friday is the new Thursday Ed.  Deal with it..."

Oh, it's on now missy!  IT - IS - ON!

Later,

1449 CST : Sleep, it does a comic good...

I went to sleep shortly after I got home from work today, so I wasn't able to post or get to work on the strip till now.  Given the current time I expect it'll be up sometime this evening.  Maybe around 7pm or so.

Hopefully y'all aren't too disappointed about having to wait so long to see it, but if you are then allow me to show you something that should melt even the coldest heart.

This here be Captain Jack, the puppy pirate.  And no, he's not mine unfortunately.  This little fella belongs to Vitamin-T of the GT-forum (who from time to time is also referred to as "Travis").

I tells ya folks, it's pics like this that make me want to get a dog soooo bad!  Who knows though, maybe one day I'll have a little Bojangles running around my place, but for now I'll just have to settle for my one plant to keep me company.

Alrighty peeps, I'm off to work my magic!

06 / JUN / 06 - 1821 CST : "Night Out - Pt. V"

Well the strip is now up in it's black and white form, and I should have the coloured version up sometime tomorrow.  I was kinda hoping to get it all done up today, but I guess being the dreaded 06/06/06 we should all just be happy that the world wasn't plunged into an eternal darkness to make ready for the dark prince.

I was actually thinking of breaking with the storyline for today and doing a "here cometh the anti-christ" strip, but I didn't really want to lose my momentum with "Night out".  Besides, if he does actually show up today I feel that it may be in my best interests to not piss him off.

Alrighty, I'm off to bed.  If the world should end while I'm sleeping...well then I should warn y'all that Thursday's strip may be a bit late. I know, I know.  I've always got one lame excuse or another, don't I?

1253 CST : Sunday revisited...

Howdy all.

Well I'm getting a bit of a late start on today's strip, so I may end up doing the black and white today / colour tomorrow thing, much like I did with Sunday's strip.

However, if I do go that route, I'll try to make the B&W version look more like an actual B&W strip, and less like a colour strip that just hasn't been finished yet.  Keep in mind though, I'm not exactly skilled in with working without colour, so I don't how well I'll be able to manage that trick.

Okay folks, I'll see ya later when I get the strip up.

Hey folks.

Just wanted to let y'all know that the strip is now all colourful and pretty like.

I'll catch you guys tomorrow when I put up the next comic.

04 / JUN / 06 - 2222 CST : Just in case...

I've posted a black and white version of the strip now.  I still think I can get the colours done before I go to work, but if I fall short of time I didn't want to leave you guys with nothing new to look at.

I don't know what it was about today, but I just couldn't get my head in the right place to buckle down and make with the strip.  Artistically speaking it wasn't even that challenging, however nothing was really flowing for me.  Still, I got it done (well. mostly anyway).

If the colours aren't up today, they will be by tomorrow.

Later folks,

1750 CST : Strip update...

I'm still pluggin' away at the strip here folks.  It's just one of those days where motivation is in short supply, and my mind keeps wandering every time a shiny object enters my field of view.  Still I'm pushing through it, and given the progress I've made so far, I'm confident that it'll be done before I have to head to work tonight.

I'll keep you posted as things progress though.

0511 CST : Strip ETA...

Hey all.

Just wanted to let you guys know that today's strip will be up sometime this evening.  Right now I'm shooting for around 6pm, but if it's looking like it'll be any later than that I'll be sure to let ya know.

Till then,

01 / JUN / 06 - 1736 CST : "Night Out - Pt. III"

I actually posted the strip a few hours ago, but then got caught up with something and never had chance to tell y'all about it till this very moment.

Now today's comic won't bring an end to the current storyline, but it will bring an end to ass based humor for a while I think.  Don't get me wrong, I enjoy putting a spotlight on my character's asses from time to time, but I think you've all seen enough now and any more than two ass strips in a row would be a bit much.  Maybe one day in the future I'll play around with their asses again, however I assure you the ass play has now run it's course.

Well I think I've done a sufficient enough job of making my mother burst with pride when it comes to what her son likes to do with this free time, so I'm heading to bed.  I'll be sure to check in with y'all before Sunday's strip, but till then, take care folks!

1013 CST : While you're waiting...

Hey folks.  The strip will be up later today, but in the mean time you may want to check out the "of the moment" box.

Be warned though, this is the internet trailer, so it may not be safe for work.  At least not if you're listening to it without headphones.

Later,

-Ed
